Abstract
As one of the carriers of culture and values, Marvel movie is inevitably compatible with the American mainstream cultures and values. Firstly,this thesis takes Marvel films as the research object.Secondly,it tries to study the American mainstream cultures and values reflected in the films which contain individualism,heroism,conservatism,universalism and the white supremacy from the following three aspects:the origin and development of Marvel movies,American mainstream values and the impacts of Marvel films.Finally,it briefly analyzes impacts and enlightenment of Marvel movies on the youth,university students and the Chinese movie industry.
