摘要:作家的个性、生活环境以及思维的差异造就了不同的认知方式，文化认知又能够指导作家进行文学创作。在中国当代文学史上，张承志是一位特别的作家。本文试图从生存观、死亡观和对现代性的态度三个角度分析张承志小说文化认知的独异性，揭示其作品的文化内涵和思想深度。

ABSTRACT:Factors such as the personality, the living environment and the difference of thinking of writer ,which enable the different cognitive way so that writer could create literature works though the cultural awareness. Zhang Chengzhi is a writer who is extraordinary man in Chinese contemporary history. The article attempt to analysis the distinctiveness of cultural cognition of his novels and indicate the cultural connotation and intellectual depth of Zhang’s works from the conception of survival, thanatopsis and modernity three ways.

张承志把文学回归灵魂，走向崇高。他忠实于内心的信仰，即便那是与世俗格格不入、很边缘化的追求；他关注中国社会中非主流的冷文化——伊斯兰文化；他的许多作品中带有神圣的宗教气质，呈现出一种异质文化的美；他同情世界上受苦受难的底层人民，体现着知识分子的良知和批判。张承志的作品中内蒙古文化、伊斯兰文化和中国传统汉文化的意识形态交织着，从中升腾起一股浓郁的宗教情怀和贵族式的精神境界，张承志对宗教的精神皈依，不局限于精神的迷狂，更是对人性的更深层次的思考，是作品的文化价值的体现，他不愧是一位善于思考的作家。
