中文摘要：随着中国在国际贸易与其他经济活动中的飞速发展，外贸英语变得愈发重要。外贸函电作为书面商务交流载体，以其便捷高效的优势，成为众多国际贸易公司首选的通讯手段。其在担负推介企业产品、传递商务信息的任务同时，又是维护贸易关系、树立企业形象的重要途径。然而，由于外贸函电本身有众多复杂的特性，其翻译仍有许多难点，因此，要翻译出高质量的译文，恰当地理解和把握外贸函电十分重要。
本文从比利时语言学家Jef Verschueren提出的语言顺应理论出发，选取18封外贸函电的正文为研究对象，探讨外贸函电的特点和这些特点对外贸函电汉译的影响，以及顺应论对外贸英语函电汉译的指导性，并总结出一些翻译策略。希望通过本文的研究，帮助减少国际贸易中外贸函电翻译的失误，从而促进贸易双方相互理解和共同合作。
