Reading ability is one of the four basic skills of learning English, and it is the most important way to get information. The teaching of reading is extremely important in the entire English teaching procedure. However, there are obvious drawbacks in traditional English teaching, and traditional education models are unable to meet increasing demand for English talents. In the process of fostering students’ reading ability, and many of them lack self-learning ability. China’s philosophy of education turns from teacher-center to student-center, from spoon-feed method to the method of students’ self-learning ability.
