Abstract
Admittedly, the wine exists everywhere in people's lives, from simple family dinner to a large party .At the same time, there is no any kind of beverage, like wine, which can be deeply enjoyed by people of different races, different colors, different nationality, and different customs. Chinese and Westerns both liked wine, however, the differences between Chinese and Western cultures created different angles of Chinese and Westerners enjoying wine, which also extends out all sorts of different Chinese and western wine culture. This paper analyzes the difference of the origin of wine, kinds of wine and drinking etiquette from the transcultural perspective, to help people understand the difference of wine culture between China and the West and promote transcultural communication.
