Abstract:Heathcliff is crazy, selfish and insidious in Wuthering Heights. His character made him to do a series of revenge, which led to his miserable destiny. This paper analyzes the relation among character, environment and destiny, and explores the reasons behind Heathcliff’s destiny. This paper will analyze Heathcliff’s environment, character and destiny, to display Heathcliff’s unruly character, unusually love. At the same time, it can help the reader get a deeper understanding of Wuthering Heights.

摘要:《呼啸山庄》主人公希斯克厉夫疯狂、自私、阴险的性格使他做出一系列的复仇行动，也因此导致了他悲惨的命运。本文从环境、性格、命运方面出发，指出三者之间的关系，并揭示造成主人公命运的原因。在论文当中，作者对小说的主人公希斯克利夫的环境、性格、命运进行分析，以此来展示希斯克厉夫桀骜不驯的性格，异乎寻常的爱、恨，帮助读者更深刻地理解《呼啸山庄》。
