Abstract: Vocabulary plays a very important role in the process of learning English, and it may affect the reading comprehension skills of a student. This thesis aims to help non-native English majors learn and memorize words in a more efficient way by providing some strategies to memorize English words based on the study of relevant theories of memory, and listing a set of practical systematic approaches that can help memorize words. Therefore students can have a certain foundation for English learning and a good preparation for the application of English in the future career.

摘要：词汇在英语学习的过程中起着非常重要的作用，词汇量的多少会影响到学生对于英文原文的理解。本文引用了记忆理论以及艾宾浩斯的遗忘曲线理论，旨在为在非英语母语环境下成长的英语专业学生，在了解相关记忆理论的基础上，提供记忆英语单词的一些策略，让英语专业学生能够更快速、更有效地去记忆英语单词，并且能将之长久地存入自己的词汇库中。为学生更好地学习英语以及在日后的职业生涯中的英语应用中打好基础。
