The function and effect of teachers’ body language in English class has been paid great attention in recent years, especially in middle school. Therefore, middle school English teachers are responsible for choosing suitable methods and body language and flexibly apply them to their teaching.

Body language is, to some extent, as essential as verbal teaching. It can be divided into eye contact, facial expression, gesture and manner. Each of them has specific functions and merits. As long as teachers can use them correctly, it would be beneficial to middle school students. On the other hand, teachers would also feel relaxed and has less stress or burden.
